Not necessarily a successful movement, but I want to have an impact on the community.
I am a frustrated person. Frustrated with comments from the deviantart community. Or lack thereof. As deviants, we should all know the pain of having spent anywhere between six hours to several days on a treasured piece of artwork, and then returning a week later to find out that only a handful of individuals cared to spend fifteen seconds of their precious time thinking of something to say about it. There is a reason why the commenting system exists. To let others know what you think of their piece, and to help pass constructive criticism to the artist. When the system is misused or disused, all of DeviantART could easily fall into decay.
So I have decided that it's time for a change. Time for random commenting. Maybe not just random commenting, maybe organized commenting, spontaneous commenting, constructive commenting, any and all of those.
One can do much to help. Always, whenever possible, should you try to think of at least a little something encouraging to say about another artist's work, be it someone you have known and watched for a long time or just found out about on the front page. There are few things more encouraging than running into a person, any person, even and especially one you've never seen before, and then hearing them tell you how much they like your work. So why not give the artist the pleasure to log on to a warm, stacked inbox full of loving comments?
Practice what you preach. Then preach what you practice. Spread the love.
Mä voisin laittaa tämän journaliini, samaa mieltä kun olen, mutta onko tää sulla jo kenties jossain Photobucketin tyylisessä paikassa...? *mä saisin sen sieltä helpommin*

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
